#tempodelledonne, the first event dedicated to the ladies’ universe and its transformation, promoted and developed by “27esima Ora”, Corriere della Sera foundation and “Io Donna”, “Corriere della Sera” weekly women’s magazine, was a real success.

The event lasted for 3 days in Milan, centre of debates, exhibitions and events concerning the current female world, under different perspectives. Many participants, ideas and considerations during Milan’s “triennial fair” and in view of Expo 2015. But the real protagonist was the network where, during the event, several questions, rumours, talks and famous experts, artists and journalists interventions were made and diffused by users through Social Networks and the Web. More than 15.000 tweets helped to broaden the event’s resonance, making it a true media phenomenon.

Many and many the posts that commented and narrated these three days of meetings about women’s universe; a very high peak in the conversations was recorded by Socialmeter, select and report, directly from spontaneous users conversations the current interests of the web, in the day of Saturday 26/09, counting 6.132 tweets. Not only debates: several events related have led to a huge number of participants: workshops, exhibits and shows have filled the days and evenings in these 3 days, analysing the main topics about female world, but, above all, highlighting the way which transformation is bringing, and should continue to bring, to a common goal for the entire women’s world: freedom.

This was an excellent opportunity for Socialmeter to monitor thoughts and opinions throughout the duration of the event in order to hear what is said within the Social Networks, real virtual places where opinion exchanges happens and where people make and spread the real popularity of an event. This was possible thanks to the listening of spontaneous opinions and to the report of most successfully key elements on the Net.
